Guidelines

Thanks for your interest in this writing!

I publish my work so that anybody may read it freely, and I am glad that you would choose to print and/or copy it to share with others. If you print out a copy, please send me an E-mail, or a letter, telling me that you plan to do so, as well as how many copies you think you'll make (or when you make more copies in the future). For some writings, especially Come Sail Away, I would like to keep hard-copy records of how many are actually printed over time; since I offer it for resale, this way I can honestly say one day, "Over x-amount-of copies printed." Nothing draws a crowd like a crowd, right?

This is a copyrighted work however, and I have only the following restrictions to the copying and distribution of this material.

THIS DOCUMENT may not be printed with the intent of resale, or offered for sale to anybody in any way, without a prior written agreement from Guy Malone. If you are an individual or organization who wishes to print multiple copies, asking recipients to pay the cost of the printing, please contact me first, and I will almost always gladly grant permission, but understandably, I would like to monitor such activities. If you become aware of any copies being sold, and it appears questionable to you whether or not they have received permission, please contact me and I will look into it, and take appropriate action. (Note: this policy does not apply to After We're Gone)

If this seems like a hassle, I'm sorry, but I hope you can understand the reasons behind this policy. I will not make it "more trouble than it's worth" for you to share this with others, and again, I am glad that you choose to do so, and will help you to in every way possible! (Besides, I may be able to get you copies of the entire book, bound and printed with the full-color cover artwork, cheaper than you can produce black and white text versions)

FOR ALL DOCUMENTS exceeding one page (currently, this includes Come Sail Away and all of its appendices, and GODATHON,) I ask that this page (the one you are reading) also be included in the back of the document, so that those who recieve copies may also be made aware of and abide by these guidelines.

NO PORTION of ANY DOCUMENT may be reproduced by any means for inclusion in book reviews, etc by any newspaper, reporting agency or bookseller without obtaining written permission. Anybody may talk about a book, if they've read it, but I am particular about out-of-context quotes being used publicly. Text quotes, when accompanied by a hyperlink, from personal web pages and 501-c3 groups is okay, but all else will require written permission.
